Group 1 poem

whispers from the sky
coolness leaves
swims to there and up
screams why would death lie
shake away my drunk urge
recalls the most delicate woman
together we are diamonds

  1. With what we had to work with, I think this turned out to be relatively profound. My contribution began with the lines 'whispers from the sky, swims to there are back' as if it were an astronaut. Then he encounters an angel that doesn't want the astronaut there and he fights him. I then wrote 'red like drool' because he was defeated and he was bleeding from his mouth. But the poem turned out much more romantic and optimistic with the story of a dysfunctional love.

  2. Eddy is correct. We initially all didn't know what the topic should be about. The end result involves a depressed man who recently lost his significant other. He is semi-hallucinating. He is believing to see her come from the heavens back into his arms. The man is also drinking intensely to cope with the pain. The line "coolness leaves" is really interesting to me because I purposely added that to the poem to sort of explain the sudden change of mood. It will let the reader know that the next couple of lines are gonna be something with a lack of sanity.
